CHL Course
Our facilities are the perfect place to get your concealed handgun license. We have a classroom that we use for the instructional portion and, of course, our private range is the biggest around. Jake's offers the Texas Concealed Handgun Course or the License to Carry Course.
How long does the course take?
The classroom portion of the CHL Course at Jake's Clays is approximately 5 hours long. Once the classroom instruction is complete we then proceed to the range.
What's the cost of the course?
The cost of the course is $100.00 per person. This includes classroom instruction and targets for the live fire portion of the course. It does not include ammunition, firearms or Department of Public Safety Fees.
Where does the course take place?
The range qualification is on our private, 15 lane computer driven turning target system.
